As expert tools of our trade, we are constantly asking ourselves how we can make responsible impacts for all. Day in and day out we use all sorts of carry gear to transform ideas into reality, and that got us questioning the very equipment we were using, starting with writing and drawing gear. Something not only designers use everyday, but millions of people all around the globe.
The MPM Pen and Pacer Kit is a versatile, sustainable writing instrument set that combines a pen, pencil, and integrated sharpener into a single refillable unit. Designed for designers, artists, and note-takers, it promotes resource conservation, reduces waste, and provides an ergonomic, customisable solution for on-the-go creativity. The MPM Drawing Boards solve the challenge of transporting and working on large A3/A4 drawings without creasing or damaging paper. They enable on-the-go creativity by accommodating oversized works crease-free, thanks to the innovative living hinge. The slide-able clips expand into a sturdy easel/workspace for sketching, while the entire unit folds compactly for transport without creasing paper.
Billions of pens are being produced and discarded each year, but it doesn’t have to be this way. MPM products are made to last, and made to reduce waste ending up in landfill. This is a part of the MPM ethos - to do less harm to people and the planet.

COGO Bolt is the first-ever bolt-together BMX styled system designed for kids and parents to co-create - building real mechanical skills, confidence, and a passion for making. Traditional kids’ bikes can be frustrating; hard to repair, quick to discard, and lacking personalisation. COGO - Latin for ‘to assemble’ - actively engages children in its construction, reducing passive play while enhancing cognitive and social skills through hands-on assembly with parents. The step-by-step process fosters problem-solving, patience, and teamwork, creating lasting memories.
Beyond assembly, its adaptable functionality ensures longevity—starting as a balance bike and evolving into a pedal bike, extending its usability and educational value. COGO breaks tradition with sleek sheet metal construction and modularity, offering a bold aesthetic new to the market. With replaceable parts and modular design, it encourages personalisation and repairs instead of disposal, instilling a sense of ownership and care.

Innovative Pet Furniture
Traditional pet furniture often forces owners to choose between style and genuine animal comfort. As pet-loving industrial designers we saw a gap for products that deliver both, while also addressing longevity and sustainability. The challenge: create a range that reduces pet anxiety, is easy to assemble and maintain, and uses replaceable parts to extend product life. The design also needed to minimise environmental impact by using recycled and ethically sourced materials, and to arrive flat-packed for efficient shipping and reduced carbon footprint. The result had to satisfy both discerning pet parents and their animals, blending seamlessly into contemporary interiors.The Pet Haus Range features modular, tool-free assembly with interchangeable, replaceable parts-ensuring longevity and easy maintenance. The Maxi Pet Haus uses soft, acoustic-dampening panels made from 60% post-consumer recycled PET bottles (Global Green Tag Certified) to reduce noise and create a calming, secure environment for pets. Pine plywood panels, each unique in grain, add natural beauty and warmth. A suspended base improves hygiene and air flow, while soft leg covers protect floors and make relocation easy. Flat-pack delivery and clear, illustrated guides make setup effortless.
Every detail is resolved for function, sustainability, and Scandinavian-inspired visual harmony. A portion of each purchase is donated to the RSPCA.
Experimental
Outside of client work we are constantly running experiments, in-house case studies, and capability projects. These freestyle, no-holds barred design exercises are an opportunity for us to not just tinker and explore, but develop ideas and solutions that have real world applications. Several of these projects have already spun out into Launched Ventures.
